She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Rentz and Zelma Griffin Rentz; her husband Dorman Capan; her former husband Duane Purvis; her son Barry Purvis; her great grandchild Katie Ann Rowe; and her brother Billy Rentz.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Capan (Kayla) of Adel and Ronnie Purvis (Shirley) of Adel; her grandchildren, Christa Corbin (David), Candice Rhodes (Allen), Brittney Turkoglu (Kevin), Rhonda Rowe (Audie), Steven Purvis (Tyann) and Ron Purvis (Kim); her brother Charles Rentz (Mary Jo) of Tallahassee; and her sister-in-law Pat Rentz of Moultrie. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
