It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Bowen (Adel, Georgia), who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Ava Pearl McLeod Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Bowen (Luke) of West Berrien; his children, Cretia Powell (Bowen) of Nashville and James Bowen of Nashville; his grandchildren, Summer Powell and Kit Powell of Nashville; his brother-in-law Chris Luke (Marna) of Nashville; his nieces, Joye-Lynn Handley, Jaci Handley and Anna Luke of Nashville; his nephew Will Luke of Nashville; his close friend Chihuahua; and his siblings, Judith Ann Harkey, Frannie Frost (Kenneth), Bessie Hackle, Evelyn Miller (Weston), Jessie Bowen and Gene Bowen. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
