He is survived by: his son Lance; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Swearingen of Ocilla, Georgia; his daughters, Helen Swearingen of Adel, Tina Louise Elmore (Andrew C. Stietenroth, III) and Debbie Chambers of Pitts, Georgia; and his siblings, Albert Wayne Thompson of Sparks, Sidney Joseph Thompson of Georgia, Robert Patrick Thompson of Florida, Bonnie Holley of Adel, Wanda Childress of North Carolina, Gail Stevens of Nashville, Susan Manders of Tifton and Nancy Carol Thompson of Savannah, Georgia.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
