With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Duren Jr. (Adel, Georgia), born in Bunkie, Louisiana, who passed away on May 6, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Thomas Duren, Sr. and Gladys Chitty Duren; and his wife Marcia Lastinger Duren. He is survived by: his son Trey; his daughter-in-law Mary Duren of Littleton, Colorado; his daughter Anna Barbara; his son-in-law Doug Hanks of Adel; his grandchildren, Camie (Dave Hawal), Benjamin Duren of Aurora, Brittany (Gary Rowan) and Dylan Hanks of Adel; his great grandchildren, Lawton Gary Rowan of Adel and Nora Rose Rowan of Adel; his sister Beverly; his brother-in-law Ed Garden of Adel; his nephews, Thomas Garden of Adel and Johnny Lastinger of Warner Robins, Georgia; his niece Jean (Dennis Atcheson) of Lilburn, Georgia; and his great-niece Nikki Lastinger.
