She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gordon Taylor and Malzie Lee Stanley Taylor; her sons, William Dees, III and Daniel Jonathan Dees; and her siblings, Warren Taylor, Joel Taylor, Barbara Ann Martin, Melba Williams and Pauline Nichols.
She is survived by: her brother Frank Taylor of Black Mountain; and her nieces, Kathy Wetherington of Cecil and JoAnna Lightfoot of Tifton.
