She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Hunter and Eva Simmons Hunter; her husband James Shivers; her stepfather Jess Bryant; her brothers, Ray and Alvin Hunter; her daughter Ruth Ellen Shivers; her son-in-law Johnny Ussery; her children, John Shivers (Sandy) of Zolfo Springs and Faye Ussery of Windermere, Florida.; her grandchildren, Marisa, Meagan Shivers, Crystal, Alisha and Cory Ussery (Courtney); her great grandchild Haley Ussery; and her sister Zelma Cercy (James) of Avon Park.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to the First Baptist Church of Zolfo Springs.
