He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar R. Griffis and Linnie L. Carter Griffis; his daughter Arnola Ann Pella; and his siblings, Quinton, Earl, Delmus and Myra.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kenneth "Louie" Pella (Robbie Lynn) and Kimberly Pella (Drake); and his siblings, Harrel (Joyce), Joy and Jantile. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and bonus grandchildren.
