She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Smith and Mamie Loraine Stoker Smith. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Pierce of Winter Park and Carlton Vaught (Cynthia Sucher) of DeLand; her grandson Clayton Wayne Vaught (Alice Tai); her great grandchildren, Raymond, Asher and Talia; and also Carol Lyn Sandifer of Austin, Texas..

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Covenant Anglican Church or Church of the Good Shepherd.
