He is survived by: his wife Ruth Littleford; his parents, Barbara Hanson and Harlan Hanson; his brother Craig Hanson; his sister-in-law Sarah Hanson; his nephews, Dylan Hanson and Parker Hanson; and his close friend Allen Huggins.
He would like any memorials to be given to Saint Jude Cancer Center or the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.
