He is survived by: his siblings, Ruben and Sonia Noemi; his children, Yaphet, Karem, Milmar and Celines; his grandchildren, Brandyn, Natalia, Isabella, Ignacio and Adriana; his nephews, Giovanny, Ihan and Urayoan; and his niece Thiara.
In 2010, Ralph was recognized by the International Olympic Committee with the Pierre de Coubertin medal, named after the founder of the modern Olympics, given to athletes and individuals who epitomize good sportsmanship or made exceptional contributions to the Olympic Games.
