It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Charles Aten of Wildwood, Florida, born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William and Marie Betty Aten (Howell); his wife Sharon Aten (Roberts); and his sons, Sgt. 1st Class Michael C. Aten and James "Randy" Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Butch Aten, Ocala, Ronnie Lewis (Gwen) of Hazlehurst, GA, Tammy Smith (Clinton) of Wildwood, FL and Kimber Aten Townsend of Wildwood, FL. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
