She is survived by: her husband Michael Asafaylo; her children, Amy, Steve (Sandy) and Robin DeSantis (Edward); her granddaughter Amy Prez; and her sisters, Janice Johnson, Marilyn Anderson and Susan Humanes (Otis). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
