He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Taunton Young; his parents, Edgar H. Young, Sr. and Hellen Price Young; and his brother Clyde Young. He is survived by: his sister Audrey Shaffer; his children, Carmen Young Ingram, Robert Young and Sheila Young; his grandchildren, Kevin Ingram, Monica Rodriguez, Erica Rodriguez, Brittany Harris, Olivia Balzano, Madison Davis and Bryce Davis; and his great grandchildren, Lillia Ingram, Lily Rodriguez-Arroliga, Brooks Harris and Hendrixx Frato. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
