It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mayer Pelta of Venice, Florida, who passed away on February 24, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mayer Pelta to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sala Pelta and Charles Pelta. He is survived by: his wife Judy Pelta; his children, Michelle Elover (Jason) and David Pelta (Elissa); his sister Paula Spiwak (Burton); and his grandchildren, Logan Elover, Ashlynn Elover, Cara Pelta and Gavin Pelta.

“Judy, I just found out what happened from our mutual friend, Harvey Macklin and am so sorry Mayer has passed away and you were badly hurt. I don't know if you remember me, but I was also friends with Mark and Paul Rubin and lived on Narcissus Ave. I am on facebook if you have time to write me. My wife, Wendy, and I live in Boca Raton, about 1/2 hour north of Ft laud. Of course I had no idea you and Mayer lived that close. We've driven across Alligator Alley many times going to Sanibel.”
