He was predeceased by: his parents, Iwan M Black Sr. and Gracie Rhea Jones of Morgan, Utah.; and his sister Annette Beeton. He is survived by: his wife Lyndel Van Luyk Black; and his children, Lycia Martinez (Ray), Juston, Jamelle Brown (Earl), Jedadiah (Adah) and Derrik. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jamelle Brown to help offset hospital expenses.
