He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Leonard Maurer and Mabel Marie Maurer (Rodabaugh); his sister Naomi Ellen Furbee; and his half-brother Donald Twining. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Haas of Treasure Island; his former wife Sue Triggs Maurer of Bowling Green; his children, Mike Maurer (Kim) of Columbus, Anne Maurer-Warstler (Tony) of Warsaw, Karen Hagemeyer (John) of Bowling Green and Al Steinke of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Alexander Maurer, Jack, Luke, Zane Hagemeyer and Lauren Sewell; and his great grandchild Milo Maccanico. He is also survived by his friends, his children, his grandchildren.
