He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Larson and Willy Larson. He is survived by: his wife Sherrianne; his daughters, Toni and Mary Jane Perkins (John); his grandchildren, Raphael Clark, Petra Clark and Lucian Perkins; and his brother Michael Larson (Sandy).

Memorial contributions may be made in John's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

“I worked with John at the Space Center and enjoyed many years of his and Sheri's company in our AACA car club and the trips we took in our old cars. Those were great times and he and Sheri were fun to be with. John was a perfectionist, and a neighbor who gave me many tips regarding restoring my old car.
