Mary Ann (Talay) Moore
The Villages, Fla. --- Mary Ann Moore, 63, passed away peacefully at her home in Florida on December 3, 2022, after a brief illness. She was born in Catskill, New York to parents Richard Talay and the late Joan E. Matson, and raised in the Coxsackie, New York area. Mary Ann attended Coxsackie-Athens High School, graduating with the Class of 1977. She worked for the N.Y. S. Office of Vocational Rehabilitation for eight years, married Kevin Moore, and transitioned to provide childcare for family and friends.
Mary Ann loved spending time with her two grandchildren, Emma and Jack. In addition, she enjoyed shopping and walking the malls, watching her daytime soaps, and evening TV shows. After spending most of her life in New York, she and her husband retired to Florida where they lived a very active lifestyle. Mary Ann will always be remembered for her smile, her blonde hair, her long nails, and very fashionable wardrobe.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband of forty years, Kevin Moore; children Trisha and Sean; grandchildren Emma and Jack; father, Richard Talay; sister, Jean Marie (Talay) Blake, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to acknowledge the staff of the Villages Regional Hospital for their care and compassion during Mary Ann’s stay.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date in Albany, NY.
