She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Shelton and Mary Anne Shelton; and her brother Michael Shelton. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Fowler; her sister Susan Kizer (Bert); her children, Jeff Fowler (Sarah) and Jennifer Elliott (Brent); and her grandchildren, Isabella Fowler, Mason Elliott and Elaina Fowler. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Friends of SoZo Kids, Inc., The Villages.
