He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Erwin Miller and Grace Miller; his close friends, George Archie McKendree, Clifford L. Somers and Kenneth L. Olsen; his wife ViJeanne; his sons, Robert and John; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey and Heather.

Due to the pandemic, a private graveside service will take place at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
