He is survived by: his wife Karen Givens; his daughters, Nekesha "Skeet" Mckinnie (Shaune) and Ashleigh "Peabo" Joseph (Walter); his granddaughters, Amaia "Boot" Mckinnie of Land, Eleanor "Doody" Joseph of Land, Ava "Ray Ray" Mckinnie of Land and Eloise "Weezy" Joseph of Land; and his siblings, Marsha, Debi, Kevin Givens of Woodbridge and Virginia.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trinity Memorial Gardens (12609 Memorial Dr, Trinity, FL 34655). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Trinity Memorial Gardens (12609 Memorial Dr, Trinity, FL 34655). A burial was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at the same location.
