He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Russell Sterwerf and Dorothy Sterwerf; his wife Barbara (Batson); his children, Jason of McHenry and Kathleen Sterwerf-Jackson; his son-in-law David Jackson of Lakeland; his grandchildren, Alyssa and Griffin Sterwerf; his niece Dawn Michelle White of Oregon; his sister Shirley Waits; and his aunt Janet Abbott.
