She was predeceased by: her parents, Valentine Woznicki and Helen Woznicki; her former husband Daniel Lay; her husband Gerald Kirker; and her sister Kathleen Bernik (Daniel).
She is survived by: her siblings, Alice Perillo (Benjamin) and Richard Woznicki (Barbara). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She took a four month leave to volunteer with the Tom Dooley Foundation in Kathmandu, Nepal. She volunteered at many organizations and was a Eucharistic Minister for Prince of Peace Church, where she donated many hand crocheted afghans.
