It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sidney Bass of Starke, Florida, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Bass and Ethyl "Linnick" Bass; and his sister Sally. He is survived by: his wife Jeraldine "Jerry" "O'Leary" Bass of Starke; his children, Sheriann Purdy, Kathleen Simmons (Raymond), Cynthia Bass and David Bass (Tracey); his brother Lawrence Bass (Lorie); his grandchildren, P. J., Nick, Erin, Logan, Derick, Britaney, Thomas, Sammy and David, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Cyrus, Brock and Kya.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts can be made to the American Heart Association.
