Thornton of Starke, Florida, born in Macclenny, Florida, who passed away on April 23, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Willis Thornton; his daughters, Yvonne and Yvette Thornton; his mother Grace Moates Thornton Douglas; his brother William Thornton; and his sister-in-law Kathy Thornton.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Cooper Thornton of Starke; his children, Sylvia Cayton (Rodney) of Lake Butler, Glen Thornton (Dawyna) of Starke and Lisa Thornton of Starke; and his siblings, Shirley Kraus (Walt) of Starke and Pete Thornton (Susan) of Hampton. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; numerous extended family.
