We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2023, at the age of 80, John S. Hancock of Spring Hill, Florida, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maxine Hancock; his daughter Andi Donovan; his son-in-law Brian Donovan; his grandchildren, Jolie Lobdell, Jack Donovan, Reid Lobdell and Teddy Donovan; his son John Scott Hancock; his daughter-in-law Jessy Hancock; and his parents, Sue Hancock (Mayer) and David Hancock (II). He was also cherished by his grandchildren, nieces and nephews, in-laws, and friends.

He grew up waterskiing on Lake Wissota in Chippewa Falls Wisconsin, learning to play the banjo, and dreaming of making a significant contribution to the field of science and technology.
