He was predeceased by: his brother Tom Gant. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Gant; his children, Cheryl Gant of Spring Hill, Florida, Karl Royce (Erin Gant), Greg Gant of Perry, Florida and Stephen (Donna Godard); his sister Evelyn Chesney of Miami, Florida; and his grandchildren, William Wilson (Tanya), Daniel Wilson (Michelle), Katelyn Gant, Clayton Gant, Jackson Gant and Margaret Gant. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
