She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernardo Samarista and Epifania Layson; her husband Simon Fuentes; her siblings, Aurora Zamora, Alfredo Samarista, Alice Samarista, Monina Banog, Bernardo Samarista Jr. and Rodolfo Samarista; and her son-in-law Ricky Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Smith-Leidecker (Paul Leidecker); her grandchildren, Daniel, Corina, Ricky and Gabriel; and her great grandchildren, Mia and Maebel.
