He was predeceased by: his parents, Giles Albert and Lorraine Daigneau (Gadboise). He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Monczka); his daughters, Mechelle Costa (Robert) and Lori Capell (Jeff); his grandsons, Robert Costa, Jr. (Ashley), Andrew Hebert, Jr. (Sitri), Matthew Costa (Kassie), Adam Goodale (Yoeliany) and Jacob Costa; his great grandchild Addison Costa; and his stepsiblings, Richard Bertram, Cynthia Weber and Pamela Sulack. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
For 20 years, he had an unwavering love and respect for the law, until during the height of the AIDS Pandemic, he was stabbed with an AIDS infected needle.
