He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Maier and Gertrude Maier (Schmidt); and his brother Eugene. He is survived by: his children, Matthew and Melissa of St. Paul; his stepson Paco SanEmeterio (Janette) of Pardeeville, WI; his grandchildren, Quinton Decorah, Hayden SanEmeterio and Merissa SanEmeterio; his great grandchildren, Jackson Decorah and Aurora SanEmeterio; his siblings, Evelyn Kowalewski of Winona, Joanne Rompa of Winona, Bonnie Czaplewski of Winona and Melvin of Florida; and also Pat Knee. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
