She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Batson and Rosenda Segundo Batson; her husband Wallace Odell Johnston; her former husbands, John William Cunningham (Dilly) and Leroy Carmichael; and her sister Yvonne Batson (Vonnie).
She is survived by: her children, Leana Yvonne Cunningham (McNealy) and Glen Batson Cunningham (Sharon); her cousin Judy Woodson (Fred); her grandchildren, Lenice, Sej and Blair; and her great grandchildren, Isis, Sakai and Katorie. She is also survived by siblings instead of cousins.
