He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Oglesby and Della Pearl Koonz; and his siblings, Kenny, Raymond, Jimmy, Pat and Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Mina Oglesby; his children, Stacey Mishler, Everett "Matt" Oglesby, Faye Davis, John Oglesby and Kathy Oglesby; his grandchildren, Charlie White (Gregory White), Talmadge Williams (Lindsey McWain), Tucker Williams (Lissette Williams) and Lena Oglesby; and his sister Jan. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
