He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Frederick Dyer and Dorothy Cain Dyer. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Dyer of Sebastian; his children, Geoffrey Dyer (Lori) of Calgary Alberta, Jennifer Grimm (Jay) of Denver, Gregory Dyer (Joan) of Columbia and Garrett Dyer (Emma) of Kansas City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Charles, Ellison, Anaba, Alice, Miles and Jacob; his siblings, Kathy Riley (Bruce) of Morrison, Annette Dobias and Jim Dyer (Donna) of Utah; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Hueston (Pat) of Colorado and Mickey Chacon of Colorado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to VNA Hospice House, 901 37th Street, Vero Beach Florida 32960.
