He was predeceased by: his parents, Darwin Ralph Carpenter, Sr. and Doris May Carpenter (Brechbuhler); the mother of his children Mary Theresa Carpenter (Pagano); and his pet Roz. He is survived by: his sons, Darwin R. Carpenter III (Lara) and Kyle Carpenter (Karen); his grandchildren, Alex, Will and Jamie; and his sisters, Dorislee Carpenter, Betsey Farmer (Doug), Debbie Caufield (Frank), Daphne Schaub (Bob) and Holly Perone (Peter). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as numerous friends.
