She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Cooke and Elinor Britt Cooke; her husband Robert S. Newton; and her brothers, Keith and William Cooke.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Burdette (Luther) of Monks Corner, SC, Mary Geisel (Edward) of Wheeling, WV, Elinor Newton of Baytown, TX and Cynthia "Cindy" Godby (John) of Sarasota, FL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Reasner Funeral Home (1515 Charles St, Wellsburg, WV 26070). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
