He was predeceased by: his parents, Tauno Harja and Alice Harja (Hakkinen) of Detroit, Michigan.; and his brother Bobby Harja. He is survived by: his daughter Kelsey Marie (Harja); his wife Mary Beth Harja (Pollard); his daughter Robinson (Patrick Robinson); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace and Maddox Robinson; and his siblings, Sally Walston (Harja) and Kenneth Harja (Mark Gorelczenko).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
