Charles Donald Butterfield Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Donald Butterfield (Sarasota, Florida), born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Butterfield and Dorothy Butterfield; and his sister Donna Butterfield. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his sons, Ben and Marc; his sisters, Mary Becicka, Paula Morvan, Dorothy Gooslby and Ellen Kobylewski; and his grandchildren, Alec, Blake, Hunter, Riley, Grace and Abby Butterfield.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Friends of Osprey Junction Trailhead, a Sarasota County park where Charles volunteered for 10 years.
