He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daniel J. Ebbecke and Helen Fetterolf Ebbecke; his wife Marina; his children, Janet (Mark) and Michael P. Walker Ebbecke; his grandchildren, Lauren Plum (George), Reginald, Michael and Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Savannah Grace Plum and Michael Thomas Plum.

Dr. Ebbecke served as President and officer of the MAPA Safety Foundation for many years.
