He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wright Salsbury and Edna Wales Salsbury; his wife Yvonne; and his siblings, Douglas Stenstrom, Herb Stenstrom, Julian Stenstrom and Ruth Stenstrom Cjzaka.
He is survived by: his children, Gale S. Frana and Terry W. Salsbury (Shelia); and his brother Frank Stenstrom. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Florida Air Museum or the Florida Aviation Historical Society.
