He is survived by: his wife Sherrill Thomas (Smedlund); his son David Thomas (Jackie); his son-in-law Kurt Grotler; his grandchildren, Josh, Jeremy (Jenna), Sarah Grotler, Jared and Amy Thomas; his great grandchildren, Collins, Naomi, Ben, Jack and Samarah; his brother Buddy Thomas; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Smedlund and Joy Whitney (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
