It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen Iris Arias Gomez of Sanford, Florida, who passed away on May 26, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joaquin M. Arias and Carmen Ede Arias Gomez; and her brother Miguel Arias. She is survived by: her husband Rene B. Ruiz; her children, Rene M. Ruiz and Larissa R. Baia; her son-in-law Carlos Baia; her grandchildren, Jonas R. Baia and Tatiana R. Baia; and her siblings, Isabel Arias, Nancy Arias, Fatima Arias, Adria Madeline Ventura and Gullermina Marquez.
