He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Andrew Cone; his son Randolph Andrew Cone; his parents, John Randolph and Ruth Cone; and his siblings, Daniel and Ruth Jaquelyn.

He is survived by: his children, Lori (Jim Speckman) and Rob (Megan); his sister Jean Lucas; and his grandchildren, Grant Speckman and Ella Cone.

Dad agreed to lead the trustees at Seminole United Methodist Church in late 2019. And then COVID changed everything.
