She was predeceased by: her parents, Lessie Elliott Barnett and Vivan Barnett; her husband Herman Sapp; her son Michael Sapp; and her brother Vernon Barnett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Josephine Pelham (Larry Watson), Jacquelin Corley (Tom) and Deby Barnett; and her siblings-in-law, Flora Hartsfield (David) and Rich Abell (Diane). She is also survived by two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
