Elsie Lorene left this world on February 3, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayward Linzy and Lois Louise Rose Linzy; her husband Ernest D. Carlton, Sr.; her children, Cynthia Thornton and Durant Carlton; her grandchildren, Karen Carlton and Randy Carlton; and her siblings, Tommy Linzy, Betty Dees, Ben Linzy, Kenny Linzy and Wanda Sapp.
She is survived by: her son Ricky Carlton (Dana); her grandchildren, Wendy, Melissa Carlton (Dail), Joey Carlton (Carrie) and Dustin Norman; her great grandchildren, Savanna, Grace, Tucker, Wade, Mason, Bailee and Robert; and her sister-in-law Virginia Linzy.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sapp Cemetery.
