She is survived by: her children, Clinton Scharff, Susan Scharff (Shelton) and Tina Ard; her grandchildren, James Scharff, Dr. Sydney Scharff (Veith), Hannah Scharff, Anthony Ard and Shyana Ard; and her siblings, David Sanborn and Catherine Shiel. She is also survived by many nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Shriners Children's Hospital.
