With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louis Victor Desguin Jr. (Punta Gorda, Florida), born in Oneida, New York, who passed away on August 23, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Victor "Louis" Desguin, Sr. and Gertrude Mullen "Gertie" Desguin; his former wife Peggy; his sister-in-law Jean "Wonderful One" Rigell; and his brother Joe "Moonie" Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Desguin (Oglesby); and his children, Frank Desguin (Teresa) of Punta Gorda, Louis Desguin of Punta Gorda, Jeanne Radwick (Joe) of Venice, Mike Desguin (Sandra) of Houston, Joel Desguin of Punta Gorda, Larry Desguin (Kimberly) of Oviedo and Shane Desguin (Heather) of Crawfordville, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kiwanis Foundation of Charlotte County (KFCC), P. O. Box 510273, Punta Gorda, FL, 33951, to establish an endowed memorial scholarship for a Charlotte High student.
