He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Edwin Smith and Verla Pauline Smith; his brother Edwin (Norris); and his son Paul Brennegan. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his sons, Richard, David (Veronica) and Chris (Donna); and his grandchildren, Katie, Carly, Sara, Richard, Thomas, Andrew and Mark.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul's name to Trinity United Methodist Church or the Treasure Coast Hospice of Fort Pierce, FL.
