He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Kelley and Mary Cordes Kelley (Mimi); and his sister Margaret Kelley Sanderson (Meg). He is survived by: his wife Resa Kelley; his sisters-in-law, Tina Hamby (Johnny) and Rosie Rausch (Brian); and his nieces and nephews, Kelli Crowe, Katie Rausch, Nicholas Webb, Mitchell Webb and Eric Rausch.
