With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kelsey Tatum of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on August 13, 2021 at the age of 26. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kelsey Tatum to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Eleanor (Kelsey), Richard Kopf, Donald E. Tatum and Fredric Diekman; and her uncles, Christopher Kopf and Kyle Mauk.

She is survived by: her parents, Dr. William O. Tatum IV and Diane D. Tatum; her brother William O. Tatum V; her pets, Bella and Grant Tatum; her grandmothers, Jacqueline Hawk and Sally Tatum; her aunts and uncles, Elizabeth Tatum, Don Tatum, Tim (Anne Tatum), Julie (Paul Keech), Amanda (Jim Powers), Maureen Kopf, Richard (Joan Kopf), Ann (Mike Diekman), Connie (Ron Frank), Aimee (Dan Bartok) and Jennifer Mauk; and her friends, Janecia, Catherine, Heather, Hayley, Zuha, Noor, Simone, Chelsey and Erica. She is also survived by loving cousins, and wonderful beloved friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity that would honor Kelsey's spirit or by performing a random act of kindness in her name.

“I was one of Kelsey's classmates at LECOM. I talked with her in the cafeteria between classes. She always had an uplifting attitude that helped me get through the tougher days on campus. I was supposed to be in her PBL group before she withdrew and I remember feeling so excited that I'd have a chance to get to know her more over that semester. I never got the chance to know her better but I hope you know even with our limited interactions, she made a big difference in my time there.”
