He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Henderson Cory; and his children, Sarah Ann Cory and James Anthony Cory. He is survived by: his sons, Fred Joseph Cory of Raleigh, N. C. and John Ward Cory of Scottsdale; his grandsons, Daniel Joseph Cory and James Everett Cory; and his siblings, Mary Alice Peterson, Martha Jean Cory, Charles Cory, John Cory and Ralph Cory.
